The principle

Aries Notes holds a record of what people said in meetings. That is a serious thing to hold, and this page sets out the uses of it we will not support.

You must not

• Record a meeting you have no right to record, or fail to tell the people in the room that you are.
• Use the product to monitor individuals covertly, or to build a case against somebody who was never told

the meeting was being recorded.

• Bring in content that is unlawful, or that infringes somebody else's rights.
• Attempt to reach another organization's data, or to defeat the permission model inside your own.
• Probe, scan or load-test the service without our written agreement.
• Resell the product, or give access to somebody outside your organization other than as a named external

participant in a meeting or a signatory of a document.

• Use the product to generate or distribute malware, spam or fraudulent material.

Fair use

Plans carry limits and the limits are shown. Where usage is far outside what a plan anticipates we will talk to you before doing anything about it.

What happens if this is broken

We would rather ask first. Where use is unlawful or puts other customers at risk we may suspend access immediately; otherwise we will raise it, explain what we have seen, and give a reasonable chance to put it right.
